Job Overview

As a Senior Analyst, you will be part of a dynamic team responsible for defining and optimizing pricing strategies across various product categories. Your expertise in advanced analytics will enable you to forecast the impact of pricing actions, develop strategic price zones, recommend price changes, and identify sales/margin opportunities to achieve company targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide data-driven insights through the development and deployment of necessary dashboards, reporting & analytics.
  • Design and implement statistical approaches/models for specific business problems (Price Testing, Price Change, Post Mortem & Category review).
  • Gather, explore, structure, enrich, and clean large datasets from various internal and external sources.
  • Leverage item role designation (Key Value Item (KVI), Head, Core & Tail) models in support of Role of Category and Intent objectives.
  • Develop scalable retail test processes and frameworks for design of experiment, test v/s control testing, baseline development, assessment, and recommendations.
  • Analyze Competitor demographics & performance for pricing across key categories.
  • Support Ad Hoc reporting and analysis for Pricing team.
  • Develop executive-ready presentations synthesizing multiple data sets to inform strategic decisions.
Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate should have:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Business, Engineering, Statistics, Economics) plus 3+ years' experience in an analytical role OR 6+ years of relevant experience in a professional environment.
  • Experience with Data mining and visualization tools such as Power BI, Excel, GCP, and SQL (ETL).
  • Strong analytical skills with demonstrated ability to accumulate, evaluate, and generate insights from disparate data sources.
  • Story building with data – Presentations that depict results in a way that can be shared across levels & actionable insights.
  • Experience in statistical concepts/modeling.
  • Process Improvement/Automation experience.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Desirable Skills

  • Technical expertise in Tableau, Knime, Power Automate.
  • Experience in Python, statistical concepts/modeling.
  • Experience in Pricing Analytics or Marketing Analytics or Retail Analytics.
