Job Overview:

This role is crucial in driving supply chain technology and automation initiatives within Emerging Markets SCM, ensuring seamless order management.

Responsibilities:
  • Own the servicing of orders for regional sales teams in a defined customer service framework to ensure timely issue resolution.
  • Validate demand over the horizon, prioritize orders, and assign customer requirements.
  • Ensure that demand aligns with available purchase orders, letters of credit, regulatory clearances, artwork details, SKU codes, inland clearance checks, manufacturing license checks, minimum shelf-life requirements, and pre-shipment documents submission to customers with timelines.
  • Analyze order status in our systems.
  • Gather information on scheduling, material receipt, and dispatch schedules.
  • Highlight potential issues affecting defined timelines.
  • Take end-to-end ownership of assigned orders for the region.
  • Drive all documentation related to shipments with cross-functional teams.
  • Mitigate risks and delays proactively to avoid demurrage or penalties on shipments.
  • Attend relevant meetings to gather data and information on open orders for the region and their status updates.
  • Identify issues (e.g., artwork approval, batch size, minimum order quantity) to be resolved or approved by sales teams.
  • Arrange cross-functional meetings to resolve bottleneck-related priority orders to meet on-time-in-full targets.
  • Gather feedback from timely issue resolution with concerned stakeholders.
  • Identify outstanding/open orders for defined priority customers.
  • Analyze issues requiring immediate escalation to cross-functional teams for timely resolutions.
  • Prioritize orders/customers based on defined parameters.
  • Identify key stakeholders to engage in resolving outstanding issues.

Supply Chain Technology and Automation:

  • Identify opportunities for implementing IT & automation in order management processes to improve supply chain visibility.
  • Drive the implementation and rollout cycle for all IT & technology automations within SCM jointly with IT.
Requirements:
  • Advanced expertise in Microsoft Excel and reporting (VBA macros, Power BI).
  • Good understanding with experience of supply chain essentials, preferably in the pharma industry.
  • Ability to identify areas for improvement and propose innovative solutions.
  • SAP knowledge essential.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Decision-making ability to prioritize on a dynamic basis.
  • Negotiation skills/conflict resolution.
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
  • Ability to understand and work around constraints.
  • Plant PPIC concepts clarity, prior experience essential.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to meet tight deadlines.
