About the Role

As a Store Director, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the store, ensuring everything runs smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage inventory levels, stock reports, and ensure proper display of merchandise.
  • Update staff attendance records and maintain accurate records.
  • Ensure cash handling procedures are followed and excess cash is deposited into the branch current account.

Customer Service Skills

  • Maintain high standards of customer service and satisfaction.
  • Handle customer queries, complaints, and resolve issues promptly.
  • Train and motivate staff to deliver excellent customer service.

Sales and Marketing Initiatives

  • Develop and execute sales and marketing strategies to achieve targets and maximise revenue.
  • Plan and execute promotional activities and events to drive sales.
  • Identify opportunities to increase market share and propose innovative ideas.
  • Maintain an outstanding store condition and visual merchandising standards.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers through regular communication, feedback collection, and personalised interactions.
  • Analyse customer feedback to identify areas for improvement and opportunities to enhance the customer experience.
  • Develop retention campaigns to reduce churn, increase customer satisfaction, and maximise customer lifetime value.
  • Prepare a marketing calendar for the month and type of activity based on the store's catchment area.
  • Utilise market research and data analysis to identify potential customer segments and opportunities for increasing store revenue growth.
  • Generate leads through targeted campaigns, outreach efforts, and networking activities to increase new customer acquisition.

Team Leadership

  • Lead and manage a team of sales associates, administrative staff, and support personnel.
  • Provide guidance, training, and motivation to ensure high performance and productivity levels.
  • Recruit, train, and supervise store staff.
  • Review sales executive performance and provide specific feedback.
  • Highlight notable achievements and contributions made by each sales executive.
  • Identify and commend each sales executive's strengths and positive attributes.
  • Address areas where sales executives can improve.
  • Provide guidance and support to improve their performance.

Financial Management

  • Manage the store budget effectively, controlling expenses while maximising profitability.
  • Monitor store expenses and budgets.
  • Analyse financial reports and take corrective actions as needed.

Safety and Security Protocols

  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies regarding safety, security, and legal requirements.
  • Implement security measures to safeguard assets and prevent theft or loss.
  • Maintain a safe and secure environment for staff and customers.
