SAP PLM DMS Consultant Job Opportunity

We are seeking a seasoned SAP PLM DMS professional to augment our product lifecycle management processes. The role involves configuring, implementing, and maintaining SAP DMS solutions, integrating with PLM modules, and ensuring seamless document management workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Configure and Maintain SAP DMS: Manage technical documents, drawings, and engineering change processes.
  • Integrate SAP PLM with CAD Systems: Seamlessly integrate with CAD systems and other third-party applications.
  • Define Document Storage and Security: Define and implement document storage, retrieval, version control, and security protocols.
  • Support Business Users: Support business users in managing document lifecycles and approval workflows.
  • Troubleshoot SAP DMS Issues: Troubleshoot and resolve SAP DMS issues, ensuring system performance and data integrity.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality Assurance.
  • Provide Training and Documentation: Provide end-user training and documentation.

Requirements:

  • Experience in SAP PLM DMS: 3+ years of experience in SAP PLM DMS implementation and support.
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong knowledge of KPro, Content Server, Easy DMS, and ArchiveLink.
  • Document Classification: Experience in document classification, status networks, and object linking.
  • Integration Skills: Familiarity with SAP ECC, S/4HANA, and integration with CAD systems.
  • BPIs and Workflow: Good understanding of BAPIs, BADIs, and SAP Workflow related to DMS.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
