Real Estate Portfolio Manager Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Real Estate Portfolio Manager to oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of our residential and commercial real estate portfolio.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the entire lifecycle of properties, from acquisition to disposal, while ensuring maximum value is realized throughout each property's existence.

This position requires expertise in property management software such as Yardi, as well as strong analytical and problem-solving skills to drive business growth and minimize risk.

The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the real estate industry and have experience working with complex financial data and legal documents.

  • Manage the daily operations of the real estate portfolio, including office buildings, retail centers, industrial properties, and other commercial assets.
  • Coordinate and monitor property maintenance activities, capital expenditures, and improvement projects to enhance property value and tenant experience.
  • Oversee third-party vendor payments and on-time mortgage payments, maintaining and managing insurance coverage and claims.
  • Enter lease agreement information and rent schedules in Yardi, communicate with management and tenants regarding billing and lease language.
  • Enter deposits and apply payments to tenant accounts, assist with tenant-aged receivables audits and collection efforts.
  • Calculate tenant overage percent rents and percent in lieu rents and post charges to tenant accounts in Yardi.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 3 years professional experience in property management in Yardi is required.
  • Advanced experience reading and interpreting leases and related documents as well as financial information contained in accounting software, spreadsheets, financial statements, etc., required.
  • Expert-level proficiency working with Yardi and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel) required.
