The role of ESG Assistant Manager involves providing expert advice and support to the organization's sustainability efforts. This position plays a key role in developing and implementing strategies that ensure long-term success and minimize risks associated with environmental, social, and governance (ESG) factors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop comprehensive ESG reports that provide valuable insights into the organization's sustainability performance.
  • Conduct regular reviews and revisions of materiality analysis reports to ensure they remain relevant and effective.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and assess climate-related risks and opportunities, aligning with the Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD) recommendations.
  • Design and implement climate action strategies that drive business growth while minimizing environmental impacts.
  • Monitor and evaluate supplier ESG performance to ensure compliance with organizational standards.
  • Oversee the implementation and maintenance of an effective Environmental, Social, and Governance Management System (ESMS).

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience in ESG or sustainability domain.
  • Knowledge of GRI Standards, DJSI, MSCI, TCFD, SASB, and CDP sustainability reporting standards.
  • Proficiency in GHG emission accounting.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate with diverse teams across geographies.
  • Strong desire to learn new skills.
  • Knowledge of evolving sustainability and emissions regulations worldwide.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Education:

Post-graduate degree in Environment Science/Environment Management/Sustainability related field.
