Role Summary

This position involves handling the responsibilities of an Analyst in the Global Freight Settlement Process. The role requires an understanding and hands-on management of settlement activities for the Global Freight Trading Settlement team.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Daily operations, including dispute resolution, complex issue handling, and exceptions are key tasks in this role.
  • Month-end close activities such as Inter Group Company Reconciliation and Finance Accruals require active involvement.
  • Fostering adherence to agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) by following established ways of working is essential.
  • Collaborative communication with stakeholders within and outside the trading business is crucial.
Key Qualifications:
  • Strong experience of 3 years in Accounts payable/Receivable domain with in-depth knowledge.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or an MBA in Finance is required.
  • Maritime process experience adds a competitive advantage.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and SAP platforms is necessary.
