Job Title: Senior Desktop Support Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Senior Desktop Support Engineer to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a leading organization, managing and maintaining its IT infrastructure.

The successful candidate will be responsible for administering Microsoft Intune for endpoint management, providing support for Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) infrastructure, including user provisioning and issue resolution.

You will manage incident and service request management process to ensure timely resolution of user issues and requests.

Familiarity with Nexthink, Active Directory, Exchange, and other network administration tools is essential for this role.

You will have excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, as well as strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Administer Microsoft Intune for endpoint management
  • Provide support for Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) infrastructure
  • Manage incident and service request management process
  • Utilize Nexthink for proactive monitoring, troubleshooting, and incident resolution
  • Handle grant application/drive/folder access requests
  • Administer user accounts in Active Directory
  • Facilitate consultant onboarding/offboarding processes
  • Manage access to collaboration tools like Microsoft Teams
  • Monitor and respond to phishing email incidents
  • Perform remote software installations and configurations
  • Reset passwords and unlock user accounts
  • Assist with setting up and troubleshooting Zoom meetings
  • Address Zscaler/network connectivity issues
  • Provide support for external file sharing platforms
  • Assist users with unlocking Bitlocker screens
  • Configure and map network drives and printers
  • Provide support for mobile devices

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field
  • Proven experience in desktop support or a similar role
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems and Office applications
  • Familiarity with Active Directory, Exchange, and other network administration tools
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
