Job Description

Our organization is seeking a seasoned production professional to lead and oversee production operations.

  • Lead and supervise shop floor activities
  • Plan, schedule, and prioritize production tasks
  • Provide technical expertise in sheet metal fabrication and welding
  • Oversight resource allocation and optimize utilization of manpower, materials, and equipment
  • Drive compliance with manufacturing excellence principles
  • Establish, implement, and monitor Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Collaborate with the Quality team to ensure robust inspections
  • Analyse production Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and implement corrective actions
  • Mentor and train production team members on best practices
  • Initiate and lead process improvement projects
  • Maintain production documentation

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in mechanical engineering and have 4–7 years of experience in production/manufacturing roles.

Key Skills:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Hands-on expertise in TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas) and MIG (Metal Inert Gas) welding for stainless steel assemblies
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and other CAD software
  • Proven leadership and team management experience

Additional Requirements:

  • Fluency in English, Tamil, and Hindi languages
  • Candidates must be available to work in Chennai from Monday to Friday
Qualifications and Skills

  • Industry knowledge: Mechanical engineering, Production/Mfg., Manufacturing excellence, Leadership/Team mgmt.
  • Technical skills: AutoCAD, SolidWorks, TIG/MIG welding, Sheet metal fab.
  • Language skills: English, Tamil, Hindi.
