Project Leadership Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Project Leader to drive the delivery of complex airline projects.

  • Oversee end-to-end project delivery, ensuring alignment with business objectives, timeline, cost, and quality standards.
  • Build strong relationships with airline clients to understand their needs and develop tailored project plans.
  • Coordinate project schedules, risks, issues, and dependencies using agile/waterfall or hybrid methodologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including development, QA, business analysts, and third-party vendors.
  • Monitor and report project progress through regular updates, dashboards, and stakeholder meetings.
  • Ensure adherence to compliance, security, and quality standards in all project phases.
  • Drive continuous improvement by identifying and implementing best practices.
  • Support pre-sales activities such as RFP responses, estimations, and client presentations (as required).

Key qualifications include:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; PMP/Prince2 certification is a plus.
  • 15+ years of total experience, with at least 5+ years managing projects in the airline or aviation industry.
  • Strong knowledge of airline systems such as PSS, DCS, revenue management, loyalty systems, or MRO.
  • Hands-on experience in managing enterprise applications, digital transformation, or system integration projects in an airline context.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Familiarity with tools like MS Project, JIRA, Confluence, or similar.
  • Ability to work in a global delivery model and manage geographically distributed teams.

Preferred qualifications include:

  • Prior experience working with Tier-1 airline clients or global aviation service providers.
  • Agile/Scrum certification (CSM, SAFe, etc.).
  • Exposure to IATA standards and airline regulatory frameworks.
