Job Title:

Regional Operations Manager

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Regional Operations Manager to oversee the operations department, ensuring adherence to corporate procedures and documentation by field personnel and project managers.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in oil and gas operations, with a proven ability to manage a large, motivated team and oversee regional operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing project execution within assigned territories, maintaining a high level of quality and safety standards, and fostering effective communication between the territory and corporate office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage project execution within assigned territories
  • Maintain a high level of quality and safety standards
  • Foster effective communication between the territory and corporate office
  • Oversee regional operations, including daily communication with Regional Heads
  • Ensure timely submission of project reports and data analysis plans
  • Coordinate with sales on incoming projects and urgent requirements

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A degree in Business, Finance, or Technical Science
  • A minimum of 18 years of operation planning experience in the Oil and Gas sector, with at least 5 years in management
  • Working knowledge of engineering challenges in the pipeline environment and experience with in-line inspection, ILI, pipeline inspection, integrity, pigging, cleaning, freezing, and hydro-testing projects
  • Proven ability to manage a large, motivated team and oversee regional operations
  • Strong IT and computing skills, with a specialized knowledge of Oil and Gas Software and Equipment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office is essential

Physical and Mental Requirements:

The successful candidate must be able to:

  • Lift and carry up to 50 pounds
  • Walk and climb to perform duties, including maneuvering within a refinery or plant environment and accessing elevated platforms via ladders and stairwells
  • Sufficient clarity of speech and hearing, or other communication capabilities, to communicate effectively
  • Maintain focus and multitask effectively
