Senior Broadcast Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled broadcast engineer to join our fleet operations team. The primary focus will be on ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of global experiential and event production fleets.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing cloud services, remote enrollment and configuration of Mac, Linux and Windows fleet via UEM, SSH, VNC & Chrome Remote Desktop, monitoring stability of deployment infrastructure, platform and system administration, validation testing for newer interactive exhibit releases.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure optimal performance and reliability of global experiential and event production fleets.
  • Develop and execute proactive maintenance projects.
  • Configure and document broadcast streaming and experiential & event technology infrastructure.
  • Resolve technical issues escalated from Tier 3 Incident/Response & Tier 2 Site Operations Teams.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency with Unix, Windows & Mac based operating systems.
  • Proficiency with online & event video production technologies, including video encoding technology for live streaming, Ross video switchers or other industry standard solutions.
  • Familiarity with enterprise level network switches & routers, including IT & media network protocols, VLAN, QoS, IGMP Snooping.
  • Knowledge of advanced signal flow for audio, video, lighting, network and control.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Administration of desktop and server OS support (Mac OS X, Windows, Linux).
  • Fleet management software such as unified endpoint management (UEM).
  • Virtual network computing (VNC).
  • Secure shell.
  • LED video walls & multi projector installations, including configuration and maintenance of both hardware and software.
  • Enterprise Cloud platforms, VMs running web services.
  • Web development, code & database management, including Javascript, SQL, Gerrit.
  • Message brokers, federation and configuration, including MQTT, RabbitMQ.
