A media organization is seeking a Business Development Specialist to drive innovation and socio-digital transformation through knowledge portals, webinars, events, and awards.
This is a full-time remote role responsible for expo space selling, sponsorship sales, organizing and managing conferences, planning events, and overseeing project delivery.
The specialist will work closely with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure successful event execution and client satisfaction.
- Responsible for event partnership & sponsorships, expo space sales, conference sales
- Driving revenue growth & meeting sales targets
- Identifying potential clients through PR relations, cold calling, and extensive online research
- Creating compelling proposals as per clients needs, preferences, and budget constraints
Key qualifications include:
- Job experience: 2-8 Yrs in Event Sales/ Expo Space Selling/ Conference Sales/ Sponsorship Sales
- Education: Graduate/ Post-graduate in Business Administration, Marketing, Event Management
- Industry experience: Events/ Media/ Advertising
Responsibilities Include:
- Sales, invoice generation, follow-ups & timely payment recovery
- Handling key accounts and being a single point of contact between the client and the production team
- Proven track record of sales goals
- Good in business communication, proficient in Google Workspace, Google Sheets & PPT presentations
- Working with internal teams and external vendors to execute events seamlessly
