Senior Inside Sales Specialist

The Zurn Elkay Water Solutions Centre of Excellence in Hyderabad supports global Engineering, Information Tech, Digital Marketing, Finance, and Customer Service functions. Position Summary
This role focuses on building quotes, crossing products, and supporting the sales team with product engineering knowledge and insights.
Responsibilities
- Ability to read and understand product specifications and plumbing plans.
- Ability to read and understand MEP plans and plumbing architectural plans.
- Provides spec writing services, including crossing competitive specs and matching them to Zurn products.
- Understanding and ability to interpret Plumbing drawings and layouts along with fixture schedules.
- Create digital specifications and collaborate with customers on projects using Zurn's proprietary digital specification solution.
- Responsibilities also include providing equipment functionality and capability reports to the sales force, and acting as a technical liaison to the sales team.
- Collaborate closely with the spec sales team to create and deliver specifications for key accounts and large commercial building projects.
- Coordinate additional support activities and post-sales technical support with engineering departments.
- Produce presentations and product comparisons for sales assistance.
- Determine product technical strength/weaknesses vs. competition.
- Specialty knowledge of finished plumbing, fixture carriers, PEX, water safety & control, and/or commercial drainage products.
Requirements
This role requires a BE/B. Tech in Mechanical/Civil Engineering and 3-5 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Knowledge of inside-sales processes and quoting/bidding is mandatory. Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Access) is required. Teamwork, presentation, project management, and verbal/written communication skills are essential. Ability to work independently and execute tasks in a timely manner is necessary.
