
Administrative Compliance Coordinator

Job Summary:
As a key member of our compliance team, you will provide essential administrative support to ensure the effective coordination, maintenance, and documentation of compliance activities across the institution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the day-to-day management of compliance obligations (e.g., OfS, UK GDPR etc.) by monitoring deadlines and ensuring timely submission of statutory returns or compliance actions.
- Maintain accurate records of data processing activities (RoPA) and log all data breaches and near misses.
- Collate documentation and evidence for internal and external audits or inspections (e.g., OfS).
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Experience in an administrative or compliance support role (3–5 years).
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and record-keeping.
- Strong written and verbal communication.
- Familiarity with data protection principles under UK GDPR.
- Competent in using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
Desirable Skills:
- Previous experience in a higher education institution or public sector.
- Awareness of Office for Students (OfS) regulatory framework.
- Exposure to compliance tools (e.g., OneTrust, SharePoint, Excel logs).
