  • - Cable and Junction Box Schedule
  • - Wiring and Interconnection Drawings
  • - Loop Wiring Diagram
  • - Materials, Tools, and Operations (MTO) Support
  • - CAPEX Support
  • Interdisciplinary activities:
  • - Piping and Instrumentation Diagram (P&ID) Review and Update
  • - 3D Model Review
  • - Instrument Design Review/Instrument Design Check (IDR/IDC)
  • - Cable Tray Layouts
  • - Equipment Layouts
  • - Instrumentation Layout
  • Hands-on experience in design calculations:
  • - Instrument Sizing
  • - Control Valve Sizing (InstruCalc, CONVAL)
  • - Flow Meter Sizing
  • - Safety Valve Sizing
  • - Air and Power Consumption Calculations
  • - Thermowell Wake Frequency Calculations
  • - Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) Sizing
  • - Transformer Sizing
  • - Cable Tray Sizing
  • - Cable Sizing

Familiarity with relevant codes and standards applicable to Food Manufacturing, Consumer Goods, and NEC standards.

Knowledge of wiring schemes for Electrical Safety Devices (ESD), Distributed Control Systems (DCS), and Remote Terminal Unit/Supervisory Control And Data Acquisition (RTU/SCADA) hardware specification.

Instrument Selection: All types of field instruments. Exposure to selection of instruments and systems for Hazardous Areas.
