System Integration Specialist Job Description

We're looking for an experienced System Integration Specialist to oversee systems integration across chamber design, precision motion, and mechanical builds.

About the Role

This is a rare opportunity to help seed a home-grown semiconductor-equipment ecosystem by working on a full-stack instrumentation platform where optics, electronics, mechanics, and software meet.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop high-performance electromechanical systems - scientific instruments, automation, or similar.
  • Develop and drive the assembly and test playbook, fixtures, torque specs, metrology checks from prototype to pilot builds.
  • Qualify and scale global suppliers, partnering closely to improve yield and finish quality.
  • Lead system-level integration, balancing optics, electronics, thermal, acoustic, and safety needs.
Your Qualifications
  • Experience in delivering precision electromechanical systems.
  • Comfortable with vacuum practice, precision motion, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing, design for manufacturability.
  • Hands-on problem-solver with an eye for ergonomics and field-service.
Success Metrics
  • Fast, reliable sample-to-image experience in the lab and at customer sites.
  • High first-time-pass on mechanical acceptance checks.
  • Robust local supply chain for key mechanical parts.
