  • Lead Software Engineer Position Description:

Our ideal candidate will develop high-quality software by practicing engineering principles and best practices.

Key Responsibilities include:

  1. Developing holistic designs for development using Test-Driven Development approach to ensure reusability & extensibility of capabilities in future versions.
  2. Working with stakeholders to identify project scope, estimate timelines, and come up with approaches and designs for features/epics.
  3. Developing and implementing architectural and design principles to improve performance, capacity, and scalability of products.
  4. Participating in code reviews (self and team) and suggesting/fixing defects/design issues identified.
  5. Ensuring On-Time delivery of product features as per the Product Roadmap.
  6. Supporting issue analysis/triaging and providing fixes during test phases, as well as production issue resolution to meet key Product SLAs.

Requirements:

  • Self-driven, highly motivated, outcome-focused - Ownership of technical designs, code development, and component test execution to demonstrate alignment to functional & non-functional requirements.
  • First-time-right Quality mindset, prefers to automate over doing same tasks manually, strives for delivering the best customer experience, ambitious and growth mindset.
  • Employing exceptional problem-solving skills, with ability to see and solve issues before they snowball into problems.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, and ability to stay focused on completing tasks and meeting goals within a busy workspace.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in Java/.Net/Oracle/SQL and web services software architecture and design (REST/SOAP).
  • Exposure to cloud applications including DevOps, Deployment, Jenkins, Jira.
  • Experience in RESTFul Webservices & API framework, OAS3 APIs.

Education and Certifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Engineering; Master's degree a plus.
  • Experience with Agile Development practices and processes.
