Transformational Leader for Ocean and Air Vertical Growth

">About the Role
  • We are seeking a skilled leader to oversee the growth of our ocean and air verticals in India, taking ownership of one of the largest P&Ls in the company.
  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing a sizeable team, designing and pricing market coverage, and developing carrier partnerships.
  • This is a build-and-scale mandate where you will shape procurement strategy, commercial operations, and lead a diverse team of leaders.
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a large P&L and team across America who develop and maintain relations with ocean carrier partners including global and regional partners.
  • Design, build, and price our Ocean/Air marketplace coverage.
  • Lead a diverse team of leaders and drive business development throughout the region.
  • Administer overall pricing strategy for all fixed and spot business, tracking metrics such as conversion and take rate.
  • Develop a US Export procurement strategy by negotiating contracts, fixed allocations, and monitoring utilization of capacity.
  • Administer quality management with IN- US Export carriers driving on-time performance and milestone timeliness.
