Our CPE Release Engineer function is critical to the successful development and deployment of new features and fixes as the function ensures that these changes get deployed to the field on a quarterly deployment cycle.

Core Responsibilities:

  1. Drive on-time, high-quality releases across a large number of devices.
  2. Manage the complete release management lifecycle, including scheduling, coordination, and management of releases on multiple deployed devices.
  3. Collaborate daily with Development, Field Triage, and QA teams at different geographical locations.
  4. Assess and implement new tools, plugins, etc., necessary to improve the software release engineering process.
  5. Manage risks and resolve issues affecting release scope, schedule, and quality.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 6-7 years of experience in Engineering and Release Management.
  • A strong technical background in Software engineering, including best practices and understanding of software development lifecycle.
  • Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience with Continuous Integration & Delivery.
  • Good release management experience in Agile environment.
  • Lead and own activities driving release excellence on all RDK devices.
  • Excellent organizational, technical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Education:

Bachelor's Degree.

While possessing the stated degree is preferred, we also may consider applicants who hold some combination of coursework and experience or who have extensive related professional experience.
