Are you a tech-savvy professional looking to drive innovation in the entertainment and online experiences space?

We're seeking a talented Release Engineer to join our team and support the release cycles associated with deployed software on devices.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving on-time, high-quality releases across a large number of devices. You will assess and implement new tools, plugins, etc., necessary to improve the software release engineering process.

You will manage risks and resolve issues that affect release scope, schedule, and quality.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Ensure stable/release branch builds are in good health daily
  • Provide test guidance to QA teams for the release targets and ensure targets are on track
  • Collaborate with Field Triage team to review machine metrics for the key aspects of video, broadband, and voice-related functionalities

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in software engineering, including best practices and understanding of the software development lifecycle.

Experience with Continuous Integration & Delivery, Release Management in Agile environments, and leadership skills are highly desired.

A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field is preferred, but we also consider applicants who hold some combination of coursework and experience.

Job Summary

This role involves driving Release excellence on all RDK devices by leading and owning activities that would drive Release excellence on all RDK devices

The successful candidate will have excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills, knowledge and experience in Build/Release technology such as SCM Tools, Languages, Scripting, Build tools, Reporting tools and Linux and Embedded software

Knowledge and experience in STB Video domain is must while Broadband software is plus

Bachelors degree required
