Project Coordinator for Grassroots Sports Transformation

We are seeking a skilled and committed Project Coordinator to join our Project Management Unit (PMU) for Sports. This role is an excellent opportunity to be part of a grassroots sports transformation programme across Punjab.

About the Role:

  • Oversight of daily operations for the Sports for Development program in target villages.
  • Coordination with coaches, field teams, and local stakeholders to ensure smooth center functioning.
  • Tournament management, engagement events, and talent scouting.
  • Field visits to monitor activities and address issues.
  • Ensuring compliance with operational standards.
  • Management of relationships with government departments to support program delivery and advocacy.
  • Liaising with relevant departments for timely execution and clearances.
  • Representation of the organization in official meetings and forums.
  • Planning micro-level activities aligned with annual goals.
  • Maintenance of MIS, tracking KPIs, and supporting reporting and logistics.
  • Building partnerships with local sports leaders, schools, and Panchayats.
  • Alignment with district sports departments.
  • Community outreach through local campaigns and initiatives.
  • Supporting coaches in identifying and developing youth talent.
  • Coordination with academies for talent progression.
  • Organization of trials and related documentation.
  • Documentation of success stories, field insights, and learnings.
  • Supporting the creation of training materials and SOPs.
  • Capture of field media for visibility and fundraising.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree with at least 7-10 years of experience in interactions with government officials or a Master's degree with at least 5-7 years of similar experience.


Proven ability to engage and build rapport with government stakeholders.


Strong data management and analytical skills.


Excellent written and verbal communication.


Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to multitask.


Ability and willingness to travel extensively within Punjab.
