Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Digital Product Experience Director to join our team at Cimpress. This role will be responsible for driving the development of our digital products, leading a team of UX designers, and ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and user experience.

The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of digital product design, a strong portfolio of work, and excellent leadership skills. They will be able to articulate a clear vision for our digital products, drive cross-functional collaboration, and prioritize features and functionality to meet business objectives.

This is a remote-first opportunity, and we offer a competitive salary of $140,000 - $160,000 per year, depending on experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan matching, and paid time off.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a strategic vision for our digital products, aligning with business objectives and customer needs.
  • Lead a team of UX designers, providing guidance, feedback, and coaching to ensure high-quality design outcomes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, engineering, and content creation, to drive feature prioritization and development.
  • Prioritize features and functionality based on business objectives, customer needs, and technical feasibility.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of customer needs and market trends, informing design decisions and product roadmaps.
  • Maintain a high level of expertise in digital product design, staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
Requirements
  • 12+ years of experience designing innovative digital products in the e-commerce space.
  • 8+ years of experience working collaboratively with product, engineering, design, content, and user research teams.
  • 6+ years advising and mentoring more junior designers, guiding multi-disciplinary collaborators through a successful user-centered process.
  • Strong discovery skills, including examples of leading discovery that influenced work across multiple teams.
  • Strong delivery skills, including multiple case studies and a track record demonstrating driving delivery across multiple teams, providing user-centered, creative, and innovative design solutions that had measurable positive impact for users and the business.
  • Ability to articulate a comprehensive strategy for solving complex problems that span use-cases across multiple teams.
  • Excellent communication and relationship building skills, including the ability to thrive, influence teams, inspire change in large organizations, and lead executive collaborators.
  • Experience demonstrating quantitative and/or qualitative data to inspire design concepts, prioritize features, validate new product designs, and communicate decisions to partners.
