Key Role: QA Specialist

This role requires strong collaboration with our CTO, product managers, and developers to ensure seamless learning experiences.

The Quality Assurance (QA) Specialist will leverage expertise in manual and automated testing, problem-solving abilities, and a strong commitment to product excellence.

  • Develop, execute, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
  • Collaborate with developers and designers to identify root causes of defects and ensure timely fixes.
  • Create and maintain test documentation to improve QA workflows.
  • Conduct manual testing and build automated test suites for faster release cycles.
  • Ensure usability, accessibility, and cross-browser/cross-device compatibility.
  • Track and report bugs using JIRA/Trello; manage testing cycles with TestRail or similar tools.
  • Contribute to QA process improvements and release management practices.
  • Stay updated with QA frameworks, automation tools, and industry best practices.

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • A minimum 1 year of QA experience, preferably in a product-based company.
  • Proficiency with test management tools (TestRail, Zephyr, etc.) and bug tracking systems (JIRA, Trello).
  • Hands-on knowledge of automation tools (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar) is beneficial.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based testing platforms (BrowserStack, Sauce Labs, etc.).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams.
  • A passion for product quality, continuous improvement, and learning.
