Accounting Manager Job Opportunity

We seek a seasoned finance professional to lead our accounting operations. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of Indian accounting practices within a manufacturing setup.

The Role
  • Financial Oversight: Manage daily accounting tasks, including Billing, A/R, A/P, General Ledger, Cost Accounting, and Inventory Accounting.
  • GST Expertise: Serve as the company's subject matter expert on GST-related matters. Ensure accurate filing of GST returns, handle reconciliations, and manage GST audits or queries.
  • SAP Business One & SQL: Take ownership of the finance module in SAP B1. Utilize advanced SQL skills to develop custom financial reports, create complex queries, and work directly with the SAP backend.
  • Closing & Reporting: Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes. Prepare and present accurate financial statements and management reports in accordance with Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS).
  • Statutory Compliance: Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, including TDS, TCS, Provident Fund, ESI, and other requirements under the Companies Act.
  • Audits & Controls: Act as the primary point of contact for auditors. Develop robust internal controls to safeguard company assets.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Minimum 7-10 years of progressive accounting experience, specifically within a private limited manufacturing company in India.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or Finance. Professional certification (CA / CMA) is highly preferred.
  • Expert-level proficiency in SAP Business One (SAP B1). Strong proficiency in SQL is mandatory.
  • Deep expertise in Indian GST laws, Ind AS, corporate law, and direct/indirect taxation.
