Job Overview

This is an exciting opportunity to lead a team of maintenance professionals and drive excellence in maintenance management.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering and experience in leading teams, with a proven track record of delivering results in a fast-paced environment.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Maintenance Management: Develop and implement effective maintenance strategies to minimize downtime and optimize asset utilization.
  • Team Leadership: Lead a team of 10 contractors and supervise plant maintenance personnel to ensure that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Safety and Compliance: Ensure that all maintenance activities are carried out safely and in compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Training and Development: Provide training and development opportunities to maintain team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Project Management: Plan and execute annual capital budget projects timely without cost overrun using Ecosys project management software.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

  • Asset utilization
  • Maintenance cost
  • PM compliance
  • Schedule compliance

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent discipline
  • Minimum 10-12 years of industrial and professional experience preferably in a Food or FMCG industry with minimum 2-4 years of team supervisory experience
  • Operations / Capital management experience preferred
  • Demonstrated leadership, collaboration and project management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
