This is a managerial role responsible for overseeing legal and compliance matters. The primary focus will be on reviewing contracts to ensure they comply with applicable laws and internal policies.

The successful candidate will work closely with senior legal counsel and other departments to safeguard the company's legal interests and maintain required compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contract Review & Drafting:
    • Review, draft, and negotiate contracts, including supplier agreements, vendor contracts, client agreements, service agreements, and non-disclosure agreements (NDAs).
    • Ensure contracts adhere to company policies and applicable laws.
    • Assist in developing standard contract templates and processes.
    • Work closely with business teams to provide advice on day-to-day issues and concerns related to client agreements.
  • Compliance Support:
    • Monitor and ensure the company's adherence to regulatory and legal requirements across various jurisdictions.
    • Assist in conducting internal compliance audits and risk assessments.
    • Support the development and implementation of compliance programs, policies, and training materials.
    • Provide guidance on corporate governance, data protection, and regulatory compliance.
  • Legal Research & Advisory:
    • Conduct research on relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
    • Offer advice and recommendations on legal risks and compliance matters to internal stakeholders.
    • Assist senior legal counsel and the legal team in preparing legal opinions and reports.
  • General Legal Support:
    • Assist with corporate governance matters, including board meeting minutes and regulatory filings.
    • Support the legal team with dispute resolution, litigation, and other legal matters as required.
    • Maintain contract databases and records.
