Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced accounting professional to provide high-level financial support to our rapidly growing e-commerce team. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, advanced Excel abilities, and experience delivering senior management-level reporting.

About the Role

This full-time position offers a competitive compensation package and benefits. As an Accounting Professional for E-commerce Growth, you'll be responsible for timely financial statement preparation, cash flow forecasting, and providing actionable financial insights to drive optimized investment and expense management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate monthly P&L and Balance Sheets, ensuring completion by the 5th of each month.
  • Own cash flow forecasting and allocation reporting.
  • Provide regular and actionable financial reporting insights to inform investment and expense decisions.
  • Generate weekly bookkeeping reports, categorizing expenses in Quickbooks on a weekly basis.
  • Update COGS accuracy and consistency across all platforms (Quickbooks, Seller Rise, H10).
  • Maintain accurate records of payables and receivables.
  • Send weekly payments reports to the Accounts Payable team.
  • Generate monthly liquidity files for cash management reporting.
  • Resolve PayPal and Shopify disputes.
  • Review excess expenses for necessity.

Ideal Candidate Skills:

  • Experience with Quickbooks, Amazon Seller Central, Seller Rise, and H10 is highly advantageous.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including proficiency with IF, ISNUMBER, COUNTIF, AVERAGEIF, VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Dashboards, INDEX MATCH, etc.
  • Superb communication skills (both written and verbal).
  • Analytical approach to problem-solving with data analysis and interpretation expertise.
  • Ability to set goals and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with data extraction and dashboard management.

Qualifications:

  • Must have experience in an accounting or finance analyst position with report presentation experience for senior management.
  • 5+ years of proven accounting or finance analyst experience, preferably serving a US or UK-based company.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Creative problem-solving.
  • A strategic and analytical mind.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.

Estimated Salary: $80,000 - $110,000 per year, based on industry standards and location considerations. This figure may vary based on individual qualifications and experience.

Location: Remote, with time zone hours based on EST/PST.
