Technical Support SpecialistThe role of a Technical Support Specialist involves resolving complex Level 2 issues reported by end-users and other IT service desks. This includes receiving calls, emails, and incident reports, creating trouble tickets, logging pertinent information, and tracking and classifying incoming incidents.The ideal candidate will have strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to provide initial support, prioritize tasks, and ensure proper escalation and assignment of incidents. They will also maintain ownership of incidents, ensure status updates and resolution according to SLAs, and provide input to IT management regarding Continuous Improvement opportunities.Key Responsibilities:Resolving Level 2 technical issues via phone, email, or web-based systems.Creating and managing incident tickets to track progress and ensure timely resolution.Maintaining accurate and detailed records of incidents, including root cause analysis and recommended solutions.Providing regular status updates to stakeholders and ensuring compliance with established Service Level Agreements (SLAs).Collaborating with internal teams to identify and implement process improvements, resulting in increased efficiency and reduced incident volumes.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.At least 2 years of experience in technical support or a related field.Strong understanding of software applications, hardware devices, and network protocols.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Able to work independently and as part of a team.We Offer:A competitive salary and benefits package.Opportunities for professional growth and development.A dynamic and collaborative work environment.What We Look For:We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Technical Support Specialist to join our team.
