Marketing::-

The marketing head for Maya Appliances Pvt Ltd (MAL) plays a critical role in driving awareness and sales of Vidiem's products, as well as building and managing the company's brand image. As MAL’s marketing head you are responsible for ensuring that the company's marketing efforts effectively reach and engage with its target audience, ultimately driving sales and revenue growth.

Responsibilities

  • Developing and implementing marketing campaigns

 

  • Creating marketing campaigns that effectively communicate the benefits and features of the company's products to customers.
  • Developing promotional strategies that align with company goals.
  • Coordinating advertising efforts across various media channels.
  • Managing relationships with external vendors, such as advertising agencies, digital agencies and media outlets, to negotiate contracts and ensure that marketing initiatives are executed in a timely and cost-effective manner.
  • Implementing effective BTL strategies based on market trends and needs.
  • Identifying target markets


Market Research & Product Positioning

  • Determine the unique selling propositions and positioning of Vidiem’s products based on market research, consumer insights, and competitor analysis.
  • Conduct segmenting, positioning, and targeting studies.
  • Analyse consumer trends and preferences.
  • Track competitor activities.
  • Identify opportunities for product development or market expansion.

Brand Management

  • Create and maintain a strong brand identity.
  • Develop a brand story that resonates with Vidiem’s target audience.
  • Ensure consistent messaging across all marketing channels.
  • Create brand guidelines & visual identity and manage the company's reputation.

Customer Relationship Management (CRM)

  • Implementing, managing and optimizing CRM programs and strategies that enhance customer experience, engagement & loyalty and increase revenue.
  • Identify customer needs and preferences to create personalized experiences across all customer touchpoints.
  • Oversee the collection, management, and analysis of customer data to formulate CRM strategies and tactics.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and IT to ensure the CRM program's success.
  • Measure and report on the effectiveness of CRM programs, including customer satisfaction, retention rates, and revenue growth.

Collaborating with sales and product development teams

  • Work closely with sales teams to ensure marketing efforts are aligned with sales goals.
  • Collaborate with product development teams to identify opportunities for new product development and improvements to existing products.
  • Develop effective sales tools and training materials for field sales teams and ISPs
  • Work closely with our sales department to develop a pricing strategy that will help the company maximize profits and market share.

Analyze marketing metrics

  • Monitor the performance of marketing campaigns.

Track and analyze marketing metrics such as lead generation, conversion rates and website traffic to optimize marketing campaigns and measure ROI.

  • Ensure consistent returns on marketing spend across all products, customer segments, channels and markets.

Budget Management:

  • Managing the marketing budget and allocating resources to achieve maximum return on investment.

Merchandizing:

Strategy

a) Develop and implement the Merchandizing strategy based on market needs, competitor analysis and the 4 Ps of Merchandising:

1 – Right Product

2 – Right Price

3 – Right Placement

4 – Right Promotion

b) Coordinate with the marketing team on available budgets and development of merchandising resources

c)  Managing product assortment mix in line with category strategy, revenues, and gross margin target as well as inventory levels

·      Optimize the counter-wise product mix based on analysis of counter location, customer profile and counter potential.

·      Ensure good product placement through display and stocking of various models and categories of products.

·      Negotiate quantities with dealers based on counter potential and inventory levels

·      Optimize counter-wise pricing and discounts strategy to maximise profit.

·      Manage inventory levels and ensure sell out from counters.

d) Give inputs and recommendations to management on pricing through regular competition benchmarking and analysis

e) Identify opportunities for cross-merchandising and cross-selling of Vidiem products

f) Devise effective dealer and distributor schemes based on timely review and analysis of competitor market schemes 

g) Come up with effective BTL strategies for promoting Vidiem products

h) Keep management updated on new product trends and changing consumer needs and ensure product selection is aligned with market trends.

i)  Analysing product performance & sell-through tracking on a monthly/seasonal basis.

 

2. Product promotions

a) Collaborate with dealers to create attractive sales floor displays and make sure that our product & brand is prominently

displayed.

b) Improve brand visibility through effective promotions and BTL campaigns such as road shows, product demos and free

service camps etc

c) Managing layout plans of retail outlets, product shelves and maintain display standards.

d) To develop and implement the customer engagement programmes.

e) Responsible on negotiating with customer to get a customized space, Shelf branding, Dealers boards , In shop Branding

solutions inorder to improve the brand visibility.

3. Promoters Management & Training

 

a) Identifying and recruiting right candidates for sales promotional activities.

 

b) Monitoring promoter performance and training based on the needs.

 

c) Conduct the training with well trained team leaders

 

d)Manage educational material and sales tools for all new launches.

 

e) Prepare the training calendar for sales Promoters .

 

f) Conduct the quarterly assessment of promoters and recommend necessary changes (promotions, replacement etc) to management.

 

g) To conduct the monthly review meeting with promoters to understand their requirements in terms of job, training needs etc.

E-Commerce:

a) Overseeing the design and development of the website thereby increasing sales through the Vidiem ecommerce channel

b) To create & implement the roadmap and execute strategy to achieve E-commerce sales targets

c) Managing and executing promotional campaigns for E-Commerce.

d) Drive conversions through effective online campaigns, SEO/SEM activities and attractive digital content

e) Monitor web analytics and internal data sources to drive growth in ecommerce sales

f) Responsible for all new product launches in various ecommerce channels.

g) Coordinate with the marketing & digital media teams and external agencies to drive ecommerce strategy

h) Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports and analyse conversion numbers

i) Provide insights on online customer shopping trends and suggest marketing, pricing and product strategy for various ecommerce channels based on thorough analysis.

j) Perform periodic competition bench marking & analysis and provide feedback to management on online competitor activities.

k) Develop and monitor logistical solutions for ecommerce sales.

l) Planning the inventory across all warehouses and ensuring smooth & timely order fulfilment.

             m) Responsible for handling all SRN & product replacement issues for E-comerce customers.

n) To manage customer communication & online product complaints in order to enhance customer satisfaction among ecommerce customers

o)Responsible for collection of receivables and outstanding for ecommerce channels

p)To give inputs to management in order to enhance positive reviews on ecommerce portals.

q) Responsible for the P&L for online sales.

Vidiem E- Shop

To Manage the New product launch, Pricing, order management and delivery process for Vidiem E-Shop portal.


Digital Marketing:

a) Develop strong and innovative strategies to promote the business brand, products.

b) Manage and execute campaigns across various digital channels, including email, social media, search engines, and display advertising

c)Measure and report on the performance of digital marketing campaigns and assess against goals.

d) Conduct market research and analyze trends to identify new opportunities and improve campaign performance.

e) Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including creative, content, and web development, to produce engaging content and optimize user experience.

f) In- charge of all the digital channels and uses them to driver brand awareness and generate leads.

g) Involve overseeing and development of the overall content strategy for an enterprise, as well as

 Marketing campaign.
