In a short span of 10 months We have received $ 350 millions dollars in loan requests and facilitated disbursements of more than $ 50 million in loans this year and we are poised to scale up rapidly. We are launching the second product - SelectRight as an innovative approach to college selection and student recruitment for students and universities, respectively. The product rests on the three pillars of data-science, transparency and ethics and hopes to create a lot of value for students and universities.
The core team of GradRight has significant domestic and international expertise in setting-up, managing and working in higher education institutions. The team members are passionate about making a difference to students and universities in the sector.
Brief:
If you enjoy the challenges of sourcing, attracting and hiring candidates in a fast-paced environment, you are welcome to consider this role. In this role you will be responsible for finding and recruiting candidates matching our requirements in a timely and stress-free manner.
Responsibilities:
A. Manpower planning:
Work with respective team leads to:
- Understand their requirements and schedule of staffing for their respective functions
- Understand the skills, qualities, experience required for various roles and build job descriptions for different roles
- Plan the recruitment schedule under the guidance of Lead, Talent Development
- Support the hiring managers or functional leads to understand the talent requirements in the organisation.
B. Sourcing:
- Research into competitors and market place to understand the trends of sourcing, compensations in different functions like sales, marketing, technology, corporate
- Source in CVs from various channels like Linked In, Angelist, Naukri etc. and also working with recruitment agencies to ensure a good supply of suitable profiles
C. Recruitment process:
- Facilitate shortlisting, interviews with candidates as per hiring mandates
- Achieve and exceed the hiring benchmark within the given time period
- Sending out offer letters to selected candidates and sharing company policies and process document
- Following up with the candidate till he/she is onboarded
Qualities and skills required:
- MBA with specialization in Human Resource Management
- 5-8 years experience in talent acquisition
- Ability to build relationships with & influence stakeholders
- Ability to multitask effectively
- Good exposure to using applicant tracking software
- Excellent communication and problem solving skills
- Proficient in Excel

- Prior work experience with a fast-growing start-up
- Willingness to stretch and go beyond the normal standards of schedule and expectations
