Job Description:Job Title: US Accounting Specialist (AR, AP, GL)Location: Pune / RemoteJob Type: Full-timeJob Summary:We are seeking an experienced US Accounting Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a range of accounting functions, including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and General Ledger. Proficiency in QuickBooks is a plus.Key Responsibilities:- Manage Accounts Receivable, including invoicing, payment processing, and reconciliations- Handle Accounts Payable, including vendor invoice processing, payment issuance, and reconciliations- Maintain and reconcile General Ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with US GAAP- Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and other accounting documents- Ensure timely and accurate processing of financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll- Reconcile bank statements and investigate any discrepancies- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures- Provide support for external audits and financial statement preparation- Maintain compliance with internal controls and accounting policies- Stay up-to-date with changes in US accounting standards and regulatory requirementsRequirements:- 3+ years of experience in US accounting, preferably in a similar role- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field- Proficiency in QuickBooks (or similar accounting software)- Strong knowledge of US GAAP and accounting principles- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines- Strong attention to detail and organizational skillsNice to Have:- Experience with accounting software, such as QuickBooks, Xero, or SAP
