Role Overview:A Client Acquisition and Business Development Specialist in the staffing industry isresponsible for identifying, pursuing, and securing new business opportunities withcompanies that require staffing solutions. This role focuses on expanding the client baseand driving revenue growth by matching client workforce needs with the staffingagency's services.Key Responsibilities:Business Development• Identify and target potential clients through research, networking, and coldoutreach• Develop and execute strategic sales plans to penetrate new markets andindustries• Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline through proactive prospecting• Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to generate leadsClient Acquisition• Conduct consultative sales meetings to understand client staffing needs• Present tailored staffing solutions to prospective clients• Negotiate contracts and service agreements• Overcome objections and close new business deals.Relationship Management:• Establish and nurture long-term relationships with key decision-makers• Serve as the primary point of contact during the onboarding process• Collaborate with recruitment teams to ensure client requirements are met• Conduct regular business reviews with clients to identify additional opportunitiesMarket Intelligence• Stay informed about industry trends, labor market conditions, and competitoractivities• Provide feedback to leadership about market demands and service opportunities• Develop expertise in specific industry verticals to become a trusted advisor.Required Skills and Qualifications:• Proven track record in B2B sales, preferably in staffing or HR services• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills• Strong ability to build rapport and establish credibility quickly• Self-motivated with ability to work independently• Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and CRM software• Understanding of employment laws and staffing industry regulations• Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, HR or related field (preferred).Performance Metrics:• Number of new client acquisitions• Revenue generated from new accounts• Sales pipeline growth and conversion rates• Client satisfaction and retention metrics• Market share growth in target industries.This role is critical for us looking to expand our client base and increase market penetration in competitive labor markets.
