Job description

Purpose of Job

  • The incumbent will support in banking device procurement, import along with Warehousing & Inventory Control Management.
  • The role will require working and follow-ups with cross-functional stakeholders and external vendors.

Job Description

  • Understand the requirement from user function and evaluate multiple available products/ services in market.
  • Compare available goods/ services with industry trends to determine appropriate pricing.
  • Finalize vendor and cost, through RFP process, in view of user requirement and techno-commercial evaluation.
  • Support User and Legal function for contract execution from SCM prospective.
  • Responsible for handling end to end activities related to warehousing & Inventory Control Management for all banking products/ devices.
  • Coordinating with all relevant user function on regular basis to understand their requirement/ demand and managing sufficient inventories for each product accordingly through proper planning and ordering management.
  • Review existing contracts related to banking product, warehousing and inventory control and maintain tracker & repository.
  • Cost saving through existing contract negotiation with partner/ agencies.
  • Raise need of the agreement (as per contracting guideline) well in time and ensure renewal before expiry.
  • Handling imports shipments end to end. Regular coordination with foreign partner, freight forwarder, CHA and custom department for arranging material well in time, in view of user requirement.
  • Engage with user functions to understand the needs and resolve pain points related to purchase, warehousing & inventory and Import.
  • Co-ordinate with Operations to ensure vendor PO issuance and payment on time.
  • Regular coordination with vendors to ensure timely delivery of ordered products/ services and collecting inventory reports on daily basis.
  • Preparing and publishing Inventory reports for all products on daily basis.
  • Support in data analysis for preparing the monthly procurement reports.
  • Stay up to date on industry trends and new products
  • Manage vendor partnerships to ensure products and services are provided with competitive pricing and in a timely manner.

Experience

  • At least 10-12 yrs. of strong experience in Sourcing, Import and warehousing & Inventory control management.
  • Knowledge of procurement practices and governance.
  • Experience in collecting and analyzing the procurement data.

Qualification

  • MBA or equal qualifications
  • Ability to manage time effectively in a high paced dynamic environment and capable to prioritizing work load to meet scheduling demands and timelines.
