Quality Engineering ConsultantExperience: 15-20 yearsLocation: Bangalore, Chennai, Pune, Noida, HyderabadJob Overview:We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quality Engineering Consultant to assess our clients' current quality organizations, processes, and practices in alignment with industry standards and best practices. You will be responsible for providing comprehensive, actionable recommendations tailored to the customer's domain and organizational goals. Your role will involve working closely with stakeholders to understand their unique challenges and crafting solutions that enhance their Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) frameworks.________________________________________Key Responsibilities:• Assessment & Analysis:o Perform detailed assessments of clients' current quality engineering frameworks and processes.o Compare existing practices with industry standards (e.g., ISO, CMMI, TMMi) to identify gaps and areas for improvement.o Analyse the quality organization's effectiveness, including QA and QC, automation strategies, test environments, and tools.• Recommendations & Solutions:o Provide data-driven, domain-specific recommendations to optimize testing strategies, test analysis and design techniques, regression strategies, quality metrics monitoring & reporting, tools, and methodologies.o Offer guidance on implementing industry-standard frameworks tailored to the client's business model (e.g., Agile, DevOps, DevSecOps).o Recommend improvements across different aspects of quality engineering including test automation, continuous integration, and continuous delivery (CI/CD) practices.• Framework Design & Implementation:o Design and recommend scalable quality engineering strategies and roadmaps.o Help clients adopt best practices in areas such as test automation, shift-left testing, performance testing, and security testing.o Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement suggested solutions, driving measurable improvements in quality and efficiency.• Stakeholder Management:o Act as a trusted advisor to clients' leadership teams, presenting findings, strategies, and progress reports.o Facilitate workshops and training sessions to ensure the adoption of new tools and methodologies.o Maintain regular communication with key stakeholders, providing progress updates and adjusting recommendations as necessary.• Domain Expertise:o Tailor quality engineering solutions to align with domain-specific requirements (e.g., Healthcare & Life Sciences, Media & Entertainment, Retail, Manufacturing, etc.).o Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and emerging technologies within the client's industry.________________________________________Qualifications:• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.• 5+ years of experience in quality engineering, QA, QC, or a related consultancy role.• Proficiency in industry frameworks and standards, such as ISO, CMMI, TMMi, and Six Sigma.• Hands-on experience with functional and non-functional test automation frameworks and tools like Selenium, Appium, JUnit, TestNG, or similar.• Expertise in Agile and DevOps practices, with experience in CI/CD pipeline integration.• Strong analytical skills, with experience in assessing complex systems and processes.• Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of conveying technical details to non-technical stakeholders.• Strong leadership and project management abilities.________________________________________Preferred Experience:• Prior experience consulting across multiple domains such as Healthcare, Media, Retail, or Manufacturing.• Experience with cloud infrastructure and cloud-based testing environments (e.g., AWS, Azure).• Certifications in Quality Engineering, Agile, DevOps, or related areas.
