We are an 11-year old, well-funded, responsibly-run startup headquartered out of Thane, near Mumbai.


The Position

We are looking for a passionate Category Manager to lead profitable business growth for one or more of our core categories.


The Responsibilities (in brief)

  • Be the voice of the consumer and drive strategy and execution on media as well as revenue channels towards meeting those needs in a timely, effective and financially responsible manner.
  • Lead growth strategy for the brands, including creating and executing on annual, quarterly and monthly business plans.
  • Develop and leverage core marketing capabilities in the organization around consumer insights, data analytics, strategic planning, product development, brand communications and channel partnerships.


The Responsibilities (in detail)

  • Define marketing strategies to support the brand’s overall strategies and objectives
  • Plan and organize marketing functions and operations (consumer insight gathering, product development, budgeting, channel GTM, communication development etc.), and ensure any marketing execution projects the brand’s unique “voice”
  • Build a highly effective team of marketing professionals
  • Create a solid network of strategic partnerships
  • Align the brand around customer centricity, utilize data insights and analytics to deliver a superior consumer experiences and measurable business results
  • Develop robust marketing capabilities (e.g., technology fluency, digital expertise, customer data and insights, data analytics) to help the brands compete successfully
  • Create breakthrough customer offerings and advance marketing by experimenting with new technology platforms, alternative media, new tools and techniques
  • Act as both architect and steward of the brand by creating and telling brand stories and inviting consumers to participate in the narrative


The Qualifications

  • At least 4 years of sales & brand management experience in the consumer space. Having worked on a brand team before is compulsory.
  • A passion for delighting consumers, building brands, creating beautiful products and working with people.
  • Hands-on experience with digital marketing and emerging technologies.
  • Solid understanding of market research and data analysis methods.
  • Outstanding communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal abilities.
  • Willingness and ability to work full-time from the Company's HQ at Thane, near Mumbai. Please apply only if you are fine with the location.
