Senior Manager Role OverviewThe position involves leading and managing the Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions within a shared services centre. Key responsibilities include ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant processing of transactions in line with financial policies and regulatory requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership & Strategy:Lead and manage AP and AR teams to ensure high performance and engagement.Define and implement process KPIs, SLAs, and internal controls.Collaborate with procurement, sales, supply chain, and treasury teams for alignment and service delivery.Drive automation and process improvement initiatives for efficiency and accuracy.Accounts Payable (AP):Oversee invoice processing, vendor payments, and compliance with tax and regulatory requirements.Ensure timely vendor reconciliations and resolution of disputes.Monitor AP aging and manage payment cycles to optimize working capital.Accounts Receivable (AR):Supervise collections, cash application processes.Resolve customer disputes and ensure accurate account reconciliations.Support credit risk management with sales and credit control teams.Compliance & Reporting:Ensure adherence to internal controls, audit requirements, and company policies.Support statutory and internal audits with required documentation and analysis.Prepare and present periodic reports on AP/AR performance, aging, and risk areas.
