JSW GBS Limited is the captive shared services unit of JSW Group. All transactional activities pertaining to finance & Accounts like P2P, O2C, RTR, Fixed Assets, Trade Finance, Taxation & Commercial are being managed by GBS Office in Seawoods, Navi Mumbai.


We are looking out for CAs who are into Indirect Taxation role.

Below mentioned are the job responsibilities:


• Review details prepared by team members related to:

GST returns

Strong Governance for ITC taken

Availment of ITC in timely manner

Review workings for statutory payments as per schedule and file returns

Provide support for tax audits / assessments

• Ensure proper compliance to the operational processes, procedures, checklists and SoA as specified in the area of operations.

• Should be able to take decisions for the items not specifically mentioned in the gazette.

• Ensure timelines and accuracy of all the items processed in the system.

• Ensure resolution of various issues and queries by raising the same to local units, departments and external parties.

• Should be able to design the new changes in IDT as per the needs of the industry

• Should have in-depth knowledge of setting up a new process in ERP (specially in SAP)

• Identify opportunities for improvement in processes and systems, and make recommendations to improve the efficiency and service levels of the team.

• Able to bring new efficiencies in working capital and other ITC areas

• Should have knowledge about tax structures for M&A

• Supervise team members in the completion of their respective duties (includes hiring, induction, training and discipline.

• Monitor team performance and ensure that SLAs and KPIs are achieved in the area of operations

• Carry out periodical performance reviews of team members and address non performance issue
