/Petrochemical/Refinery/LNG/Chemical Facility.

Major Responsibilities:

Report to Functional Head/ Project Manager for leading the engineering activities of Oil & Gas

Position Overview:

An Oil & Gas /Petrochemical/Refinery/LNG/Chemical Process Engineer is responsible for designing, engineering, simulation, steady state & transient analysis, FEED and Detailed engineering for Oil & Gas facilities. The engineer works on various aspects of Process engineering in projects, from basic design, feasibility studies to final construction and ongoing maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

A. Process Engineering:

1. Should have sufficient knowledge in Indian and International Codes and Standards (API/OISD/PNGRB/ASME etc) for Oil & Gas Processing and Transport facilities.

2. Should have sufficient knowledge in Heat & Material Balance, preparation of PFDs, P&IDs, sizing Calculation, other process related deliverables of various Oil & Gas, Refinery, Pipeline etc processes.

3. Should have experience in Pipe size Calculations, Pressure Loss Calculations, hydraulic calculations, etc.

4. Should have experience in analysis of documents like Process Design basis, Process Data sheets of Equipment’s, Operation & Control Philosophy etc,

5. Should have experience in Simulation, Steady State & Transient analysis, Cause & Effect Diagram, Flare analysis and calculations etc,

6. Should have sufficient experience in preparation of BoQ, Process & Equipment engineering.

7. Should be able to prepare Line List, Equipment List etc,

8. Should have experience in calculation of PSV, Control Valves, Orifices etc,

9. Should be able to prepare RFQs/Technical Specifications, FEED and EPC tender documents, Technical Bid Evaluations and Review of Vendor documents as per contractual requirements.

10.Should be able to actively participate/lead in HAZOP, HAZID, HAZAN/SIL/QRA sessions in Company’s projects etc.

11.Should be willing to travel to company sites/locations/vendor locations to support the surface facilities construction activities when needed.

12.Should able to liaise with statutory bodies/ regulatory authorities/customer to participate in technical meetings/discussions/audits as appropriate.

13.Should be able to provide support to Production Operations teams as needed to operate, trouble-shoot, debottleneck the production facilities from a Process perspective.

C. Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering/Petroleum Engineering. Strong understanding of Process systems, Heat Transfer, fluid mechanics, and thermodynamic engineering principles. Proficiency in engineering software, such as Hysys / Pipeline Studio, HTRI and Flare Net and hydraulic modelling tools. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make informed decisions under pressure. Good communication skills to effectively convey technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

2. Self-motivated, strong coordination skill. Project completion within time, quality and budget.

3. Good interpersonal skill, ability to meet the target in any situation, good managerial skill.

4. Commissioning support. Interdisciplinary coordination and coordination with all stake holders.

5. Should be able to participate in meetings with Indian as well as International vendors independently.

6. Should be able to perform lead roles in any project for Process discipline.
