Established in 1942, Eastern Book Company (EBC) is India's leading law publisher and information services provider. With offices in over 7 cities in India, EBC publishes over a hundred authors on law and has a backlist of over 600 titles. They are the publishers of Supreme Court Cases, the law report most cited by the Supreme Court of India, and the SCC Online Suite of Electronic Products. EBC is also a pioneer in legal eBooks with the launch of the EBC Reader and in legal e-commerce with the popular EBC Webstore.
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Field Sales (PAN India Travel) position at Eastern Book Company located in Lucknow. The Field Sales representative will be responsible for communication with customers, providing excellent customer service, generating leads, and overseeing sales operations.
Job Description:
- Excellent sales and managerial accomplishments all throughout the career.
- Willing to travel extensively throughout India.
- Works closely with the operations team to ensure optimum customer satisfaction.
- Should have the ability to identify opportunities and possess the skills to develop them profitably.
- Should be well versed with Microsoft Office.
Key Requirements:
- Graduate/Post-graduate with minimum experience of 5+ years in B2B/B2C sales.
- Previous experience in the publishing industry or medical industry is a plus.
- Experience in People management including managing senior sales managers.
- Highly customer-focused and result-oriented.
- Strong Influencing and collaboration skills to leverage relationships across distributors to successfully drive results.
- Excellent written, oral communication and presentation skills.
