Role Description


This is a full-time on-site role for a Business Development Manager at Eastern Book Company in Lucknow. The Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, and developing growth strategies. They will also collaborate with internal teams to enhance product offerings and achieve sales targets.


Responsibilities:


  • Identify potential leads independently through networking, cold-calling and/or other sources.
  • Creating and closing new business opportunities for the company.
  • Contacting potential clients to establish rapport and arrange meetings.
  • Planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives.
  • Increasing the value of current customers while attracting new ones.
  • Drive revenue growth and achieve sales targets
  • Developing goals for the development team and business growth and ensuring they are met.
  • Training personnel and helping team members develop their skills.


Key Requirements:


  • Must have 5+ years of relevant experience.
  • Strong sales and negotiation skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Experience in business development and client relationship management
  • Ability to develop and implement growth strategies
  • Knowledge of the legal industry is a plus
