Role : Presales Consultant
Experience: 6-10 years
LTIMindtree, Digital Engineering unit is looking for a Marketing Lead to join our BU marketing team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating the differentiated positioning, strategy, thought leadership content, sales collateral, and providing our sales team with the information it requires to advance sales, and be the champion for messaging and taking it to market. You will also work with sales teams to develop campaign collateral required for launching engagement marketing programs that convert prospects into customers and grow services and solution revenue.
Responsibilities:
Understand the market and competition for the product or service.
Obtain insights into customers’ usage of current products, untapped opportunities and buyer personas, through interviews, surveys, focus groups and sales data
Research competitive offerings
Create the differentiated positioning
Create the main body of sales and campaign content – work with sales/demand gen team
Develop sales training and sales support collaterals
Analyst Relations – Drive the participation in proactive analyst briefings, RFIs across various analyst firms
Develop comprehensive branding and promotions plans to reach various stakeholder - sales, delivery units and external prospects by collaborating with central marketing team
Work closely with SMEs to determine the most profitable course for existing and new offerings and solutions
Generate strong momentum ahead of new product launches by building on product messaging that sets new products apart from others in the market to give them a unique selling point
Plan and participate in the launch of new services and products which involve several different departments
Create training materials and training programs for the sales team
Focus on implementing programs that consistently generate new, high quality leads
Work with SMEs to create data sheets, campaign documents such as case studies, videos, blog posts, social media posts etc.
Key skills and Experience:
Ideal Education: Bachelors in Engineering (Computers/Electronics preferred) with an MBA in Marketing
Experience : 6-8 Years (prior work ex. in IT services/ Software product company’s marketing team is preferred)
Collaborative skills: As a marketing lead you will have to collaborate with multiple teams across the business. This will often include the sales, the engineering department, product management, and senior executives. Ability to work across time zones and a self starter who drives initives end to end
Communication skills: The ability to speak and write to a high standard is crucial. You will frequently have to present new products and write engaging copy (you can work with our copy writers), telling the ‘story’ of products/ services, for various marketing channels.
