HR Business Partner

Title - HR Business PartnerReports to: HR DirectorRole PurposeThis role will act as a senior contributor, shaping and delivering the HR agenda within Delta Capita Partnering with key stakeholders and business line leads in order to support the delivery of the people strategy.Through collaborative working relationships with the business, this role will manage BAU activity and key people-related changes; identifying current and future people related opportunities, challenges and risks, and agree initiatives that support the business' strategic plans.Key Responsibilities:Work with other HR business partners and business line leads to deliver the people agenda, identifying current and future people-related business needsCollaborate with other business partners and support the development of wider HR capability, sharing best practice for an enhanced service offering and consistency of approachRaise awareness of current and anticipated opportunities, challenges and risks to inform current and future people related decisions and activityUse commercial understanding of the business to ensure all people activity is consistent with current and future business needs and is aligned to business objectivesCoach leaders to manage change, develop people and lead a positive cultureProvide expert advice and solutions in ER and performance management to support managers on disciplinary, grievance, redundancy, sickness, employee engagement and other people-related mattersManage complex disciplinary and grievance cases where requiredProactively work with business line leads to monitor key KPIs such as absence and attrition and address issues through relevant HR activityAct as a point of escalation for the business lines for any potential people related risks and ensure any known risks are managed appropriatelyLead on HR-related projectsEnsure HR policies and procedures are fit for purpose and amend/create new policies where requiredManagement of performance and salary review processesContribute to the companies sustainability and DEI strategy and targetsAct as a role model in living the Delta Capita values. Skills and Knowledge Required:10 + Years as a HR ProfessionalAbility to think strategically and to apply commercialism and judgement to complex information and situationsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong stakeholder engagement and ability to forge highly effective business relationshipsSkilled facilitator and presenter with the ability to quickly build trust and rapport with othersCollaborative team playerExperience in:Employee RelationsPerformance ManagementQualifications:Post Graduate or equivalent level qualification in HRMCIPD or equivalent qualificationMust be happy to work UK Hours.How We Work:Delta Capita is an equal opportunity employer.
