Job Title:Global higher education institutions rely on experienced professionals like you to manage the complexities of student recruitment.As a Student Recruitment Lead in South Asia, your expertise will be instrumental in driving student enrollment numbers and building a strong network of education agents across India, Bangladesh, Nepal, Sri Lanka, and Bhutan.Key Responsibilities:Develop and implement targeted recruitment strategies to ensure alignment with institutional entry requirements and compliance standards.Enhance brand visibility across key South Asian markets through targeted marketing campaigns, agent training, and partnership development.Act as a primary liaison between regional stakeholders and international recruitment teams to ensure effective communication and coordinated operations.Provide accurate pre-application advice to students and agents, including guidance on documentation, entry criteria, program selection, and compliance expectations.Train and support agent partners across the region to ensure they are well-versed on university programs, admissions processes, and key deadlines.Represent the institution at education fairs, school outreach events, information sessions, and promotional activities to boost brand visibility and student recruitment.Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including education agents, counsellors, schools, and other partners to grow and sustain recruitment numbers.Manage the end-to-end student recruitment pipeline, supporting applicants from initial contact to enrolment, and identifying opportunities to strengthen conversion rates.Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and student behavior to provide actionable insights that inform strategic planning.Ensure adherence to compliance standards by ensuring applicants and agents are briefed on UKVI requirements, documentation standards, credibility factors, and financial guidelines.Contribute to the growth of the institution's reputation and market presence in South Asia through ethical, compliant, and high-quality recruitment practices.Prepare and submit regular activity and pipeline reports to senior management, outlining progress, challenges, insights, and upcoming initiatives.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Education, or a related field.Minimum three years of experience in higher education, preferably with a reputable institution, pathway provider, or education agency.Strong understanding of the South Asian education market, including student recruitment cycles and market behaviors.Established network of schools, counsellors, and education agents within the region.Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse audiences.Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a target-driven environment.Willingness to travel extensively across the region and occasionally to the UK as required.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems for managing pipelines and reporting.
