Through structured sessions, immersive experiences, personalised counseling sessions and our AI-powered platform, we empower students to thrive physically, mentally, and emotionally.Location: ChennaiEmployment Type: Part-TimeExperience Level: 3 – 5 years Role:We are seeking a passionate and empathetic Life Coach to serve as an in-school counselor, responsible for implementing and anchoring Tieke’s character-building program. The role focuses on the holistic development of students, with a special emphasis on their physical, mental, and emotional wellness. You will work closely with school leadership, teachers, and parents to ensure seamless program delivery and student well-being.Responsibilities:Act as the primary in-school facilitator for Tieke’s character-building programConduct individual and group sessions with students to support their personal growthManage our AI-powered student wellness platform, which includes administering assessments, analyzing wellness data and generating insightful reports for school leadersLead engaging, age-appropriate workshops and classroom activities based on Tieke’s curriculum on moral values, life skills and practical civicsIdentify students’ concerns and provide basic counseling support as needed – addressing behavioural, learning and emotional challengesWork collaboratively with teachers and school staff to integrate wellness practices into the school ecosystemMonitor student engagement and maintain documentation/reporting in alignment with program objectivesConduct periodic check-ins with parents and school leaders regarding student progress and feedback.Qualifications & Skills:M.Sc. in Psychology (Clinical, Counseling, or Educational Psychology preferred)Strong interpersonal and communication skills, especially with children and adolescentsAbility to handle sensitive situations with empathy, confidentiality and professionalismFluency in English and Tamil is preferredComfortable with basic digital tools and reporting formats.Preferred Experience:2 – 5 years of experience working as a School Counselor, Wellness Coach or Life Skills EducatorExperience in implementing SEL (Social Emotional Learning), mental wellness, or life skills programs in schoolsExposure to the CBSE/ICSE/State school environment is a plus.At Tieke, you’ll be part of a passionate movement to transform the way students grow — not just academically, but as human beings.
