Zonal Sales Manager

Summary:
This role involves managing the distribution network within a designated zone to drive sales growth and build strong distributor relationships. Responsibilities include leading the zonal team, setting business development goals, and analyzing market trends. Effective communication with field staff and regular monitoring of work progress. The position also requires attendance at company meetings to ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
Responsibilities:
Review and define the distribution network for the zone and build a strong distribution network.
Manage distributors and coordinate local marketing activities.
Be directly responsible for delivering sales growth in alignment with the organization’s objectives.
Oversee the zonal team and provide support as needed.
Set both long-term and short-term goals for the company’s business development.
Coordinate communication between the company and field staff.
Review and analyze the implementation of business plans and strategies.
Monitor monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales performance in the zone.
Maintain regular contact with team members to foster healthy communication and relationships.
Conduct market reviews of new products and services.
Attend monthly, quarterly, and yearly company meetings regularly.
Monitor activities, products, and services of competitors.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s / Master's degree in Life Sciences, Business Administration, or a related field; an MBA is a plus.
Person should have minimum 7 to 10 years of similar experience in IVD industry
