Regional Sales Manager

Regional Sales Manager - Equipment Sales will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to drive revenue growth, expand market share, and enhance customer satisfaction in the Indian Market - mainly in the Food Processing Sector. The candidate should have a proven track record of achieving sales targets. He will have a strong work ethic, extensive knowledge of industrial equipment, good problem-solving skills and should be able to interact & close food processing machinery sales cycles.
Responsibilities
Lead generation for new applications on food applications ( Snack foods, Chocolates, Confectionery, Candies & Gummies)
Industrial Experience is a must
Able to communicate with prospects and share detailed information to the concerned team or principal.
Taking ownership of machineries and technical hands-on experience in handling capital equipment
Should be able to understand the customer applications and recommend solutions
Coordinating and follow up with clients/team/principals for demonstrations, shipments, and quotes etc.
Market data and awareness of competition shall be an added advantage.
Participating in Trade-Shows and should have the willingness to travel PAN-India
Able to read and understand basic electrical and mechanical schematics/drawings.
Qualifications and Skills-
Proven experience in sales management, preferably in the food machinery or related industries.
Bachelor‘s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field. MBA preferred.
Experience in Equipment manufacturing / Material Handling / Automation / FMCG / Food
Processing / Potato processing would be a plus.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve business objectives.
In-depth knowledge of sales principles, techniques, and best practices.
Ability to analyze market data and trends to identify growth opportunities.
Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Willingness to travel as needed.
