Role & responsibilities
✅ Develop and implement maintenance strategies, policies, and procedures to optimize equipment performance and minimize downtime.
✅ Coordinate and manage maintenance activities, including preventive and corrective maintenance, equipment inspections, repairs and utility maintenance
✅ Manage a team of maintenance technicians, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
✅ Monitor equipment performance metrics and develop improvement initiatives to enhance reliability and efficiency.
✅ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prioritize maintenance tasks, ensuring minimal disruption to production schedules.
✅ Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
✅ Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, maintenance logs, and equipment history.
✅ Manage vendor relationships, including negotiating contracts and ensuring timely delivery of services and spare parts.
✅ Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in maintenance practices, recommending and implementing innovative solutions
Preferred candidate profile
🔹 Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering is a must.
🔹 Proven experience of minimum 7--10years in maintenance management, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting with atleast 3 years in a managerial role
🔹 Strong knowledge of maintenance best practices, equipment reliability, and preventive maintenance strategies, utilities and breakdowns
🔹 Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
🔹 Sound technical expertise in equipment troubleshooting and problem-solving.
🔹 Effective communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders and teams.
🔹 Proficient computer skills for maintenance software, and reporting
