Job Overview:
The Group Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will oversee the financial operations of the entire organization, including all business units. This role involves strategic financial planning, risk management, financial reporting, and ensuring the company’s financial health aligns with its strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Strategy and Planning:
- Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company's growth and objectives.
- Oversee the budgeting and forecasting processes.
Financial Reporting:
- Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Prepare and present financial statements and reports to the Directors.
Risk Management:
- Identify, assess, and manage financial risks, including market, credit, and operational risks.
- Develop risk mitigation strategies and ensure adequate internal controls.
Treasury and Cash Flow Management:
- Manage the company’s cash flow, liquidity, and capital structure.
- Oversee investment activities and financing strategies.
Financial Operations:
- Oversee financial operations including accounting, procurement, and financial systems.
- Ensure efficiency and effectiveness in financial processes and procedures.
Strategic Planning:
- Collaborate with senior leadership to drive strategic initiatives and business planning.
- Evaluate and support business opportunities, mergers, acquisitions, and partnerships.
Compliance and Governance:
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations, accounting standards, and tax laws.
- Maintain robust financial controls and governance frameworks.
Leadership and Team Management:
- Lead and develop the finance team, fostering a high-performance culture.
- Provide guidance and support to finance staff across the organization.
Stakeholder Communication:
- Communicate financial performance and strategic financial matters to stakeholders, including investors, auditors, and regulatory bodies.
- Manage relationships with banks, financial institutions, and other external partners.
Technology and Innovation:
Financial Systems: Oversee the implementation and management of financial systems and technologies.
Data Analytics: Utilize data analytics to drive financial insights and support strategic decision-making.
Required qualification - CA
Minimum of 18-20 years of senior financial leadership experience, including at least 5 years in a CFO or senior financial executive role.
Proven track record in managing complex financial operations and driving business growth in a dynamic environment.
Strong understanding of financial markets, accounting principles, and regulatory requirements.
