Role & responsibilities✅ Develop and implement maintenance strategies, policies, and procedures to optimize equipment performance and minimize downtime.✅ Coordinate and manage maintenance activities, including preventive and corrective maintenance, equipment inspections, repairs and utility maintenance✅ Manage a team of maintenance technicians, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.✅ Monitor equipment performance metrics and develop improvement initiatives to enhance reliability and efficiency.✅ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prioritize maintenance tasks, ensuring minimal disruption to production schedules.✅ Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.✅ Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, maintenance logs, and equipment history.✅ Manage vendor relationships, including negotiating contracts and ensuring timely delivery of services and spare parts.✅ Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in maintenance practices, recommending and implementing innovative solutions
Preferred candidate profileBachelor's degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering is a must.Proven experience of minimum 7--10years in maintenance management, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting with atleast 3 years in a managerial roleStrong knowledge of maintenance best practices, equipment reliability, and preventive maintenance strategies, utilities and breakdownsExcellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.Sound technical expertise in equipment troubleshooting and problem-solving.Effective communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders and teams.Proficient computer skills for maintenance software, and reporting
